Many thanks to Ghost Riders Ron Riffe and John Newman! On July 6th I received information that cows were causing problems in the Brandy Hills area. La Paz County Deputies drove the area but did not see any cows. Early the following week I received additional information from Brandy Hills residents that the cows were coming into yards in the middle of the night. Guessing it was likely an open gate or down fence, I reached out to Ron Riffe of the Ghost Riders, asking if anyone was available to drive the fence line to look for problems. Ron and John volunteered right away and did the job. Much like when volunteers installed a mile or more of fence back in late 2016, it is great to know we have volunteers in our communities ready and willing to step up and help out! GREAT JOB Ron and John! Of course many thanks to the rancher for his quick response to repairing the identified areas fence, and thank you Julie Riffe for getting updates out on the Bouse Bugle! Duce Minor Supervisor, District 2
